If there was a ever a boot that needed ample time to break in, the Predator EDGE is it. In fact, I’m not sure they ever really, truly broke in even after a dozen wears. This could be one of the only boots I’ve ever tested where they needed even more time to become more natural feeling on foot. I do wish, however, that the upper was a tiny bit softer especially as it is a textile/fabric based material. I have no issue with the weight or the heft of the Predator Edge but those who have only worn modern speed boots might have to manage their expectations.
